Rock skis for sale!

Coach Abery has 18–20 pairs of rock skis available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis at $50 per pair.

What are rock skis?

Rock skis are older, “well-seasoned” skis you can use guilt-free in poor snow conditions—think rocks, roots, thin cover, or early/late-season skiing.

Why own a pair?

Not every ski day offers perfect trails. On low-snow or icy days, skiers may be unable to use rental skis or may prefer not to risk damaging their newer personal skis. On those days, you can either run… or ski with rock skis if you have a pair!

How do I get a pair?

  1. Complete the form below.
  2. Pay $50 payment via (a) Venmo to @isd196nordicskiteam or (b) cash at pickup.
  3. Contact Coach Abery directly to pick up your skis.

Rock skis make the tough-snow days a whole lot better—highly recommended!

Grocery bagging

All skiers are welcome to sign up for two grocery bagging slots at Cub, friends!

Special notes:

  • Varsity skiers, these are Saturday time slots -- be sure to sign up for a time slot AFTER your Saturday practice is done.
  • The December 6th date is when we have the Waxing Clinic from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. New skiers, do not sign up during this time.
  • The January 10th date is the Loppet for Varsity skiers.
